Birthday and Packing
The night before I leave for Bombay and after packing every black dress I own, gummi bears, shoes galore, and mulling over which bags should be packed and which returned, I settled down at midnight to…watch Devil Wears Prada with my sisters! (There is no one like Meryl Streep) Somehow I’m comforted in my decision to go for the larger suitcase and squeeze in 4 more dresses, assuaged by watching the fashion ooze off the screen in delicious visual delights known as Chanel, Prada, LV, Lagerfield. And I’m not even a label girl!
Oh and Jaya’s 8th birthday was a huge success. She seems grown up all of a sudden – could it be because she and I watched Devil Wears Prada together last night. Is there a fashion theme here…?

So glad u reached safely and are settling down, hope u can use all the dresses u so squeezed in your suitcase it was a hard decision. I also love the movie Devil Wears Prada. It is a great movie and i am sure Jaya enjoyed it. She is so grown up and i hear doing well.
